Analista de Operaciones Fluviales (Temporal)

About the role

We are looking for a temporary River Operations Analyst to support the fluvial logistics business of Louis Dreyfus Company. The role will work closely with operational teams to turn data into actionable insights that improve efficiency and control costs across river transport activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor and report on operational KPIs such as productivity, trip efficiency, fleet utilization and costs.
• Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources and produce periodic management reports.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools using Business Intelligence platforms.
• Track operational costs (fuel, maintenance, crew, port services) and identify deviations from budget.
• Analyze cost drivers, propose corrective actions and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collect, structure and analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
• Follow up on improvement initiatives and measure their impact.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations, run scenario simulations and coordinate with technical, operational and administrative areas to ensure data quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in management control, operational analysis, logistics or similar functions; preferably in river, maritime or supply‑chain transport.
• Analytical thinking, results orientation, continuous‑improvement mindset, effective communication and proactive collaboration across multiple areas.
