About the role
Todo Rico, a leading Paraguayan food‑service company, is looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the complete people management function across its production plants, restaurant locations, catering services and administrative areas. The role will work closely with operational teams, supporting staff on the floor as well as supervisors and managers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead HR activities for production, restaurants, catering, services and back‑office functions.
- Maintain an active presence in all work areas to understand real‑time operational needs.
- Support and develop store managers, supervisors and operational leaders.
- Plan staffing levels according to production volume, store operations, events and peak seasons.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, hiring and onboarding for operational, technical, administrative and leadership positions.
- Manage high‑turnover hiring campaigns and ensure rapid coverage of vacancies.
- Supervise payroll processing, time‑keeping, schedules, overtime, vacations, permits and employee records.
- Ensure correct application of salaries, benefits, bonuses and legal obligations.
- Guarantee compliance with Paraguayan labor legislation, internal policies and procedures.
- Handle disciplinary actions, warnings, terminations and related documentation.
- Intervene promptly in labor conflicts to protect workplace climate and continuity.
- Implement performance evaluation, training, development and leadership programs.
- Promote a culture of service, operational discipline, teamwork and customer focus.
- Develop internal communication and recognition initiatives.
- Prepare and monitor the HR budget and present key indicators to management.
Required profile
- University degree in Labor Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles within the food‑service, food production, mass‑consumer or retail restaurant sectors.
- Deep understanding of operational dynamics, shift work, customer service and industry‑specific demands.
- Strong knowledge of Paraguayan labor law and HR best practices.
- Ability to work closely with operational teams and influence leadership.
