About the role

Join PMI’s Business Planning team in Asuncion and help accelerate the company’s smoke‑free future. You will transform complex business and financial data into actionable insights that drive sustainable growth and support strategic decision‑making across Commercial, Marketing and Finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, consolidate and interpret business developments, providing financial implications and strategic recommendations.
• Model business evolution under different scenarios to support management decisions and conduct ad‑hoc analyses.
• Centralize long‑term planning, integrating inputs from multiple stakeholders to ensure continuous growth.
• Monitor company performance, prepare and present volume, SOM and financial results, and identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams, delivering finance perspectives and supporting data‑driven decisions.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, review analyses for consistency, and coordinate press‑release reporting.
• Support business users on finance tools, guide ad‑hoc requirements and follow up on resolutions.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and long‑term planning processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial accounting, planning and performance analysis.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and networking skills to collaborate across functions.
• Experience in business partnering and supporting commercial decision‑making.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and value creation.
