Senior Relationship Manager – Capital Markets

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager works with corporate clients to raise capital in the markets and to provide strategic advisory on mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions. The role also acts as an intermediary for client trading activities, helping to design investment strategies and secure funding.

Key responsibilities

• Expand a portfolio of complex accounts, driving revenue growth while maintaining credit quality in line with Citi’s standards.
• Identify client needs and recommend solutions such as financing, cash‑management, foreign‑currency and trade services.
• Cross‑sell a broad range of banking products including cash management, trade finance, structured trade, FX, commodities, fixed income, syndicated and bilateral loans, and capital‑market products.
• Manage all credit aspects of the relationship, performing annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial actions.
• Assess risk for business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Citi’s policies.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in institutional or corporate banking.
• Strong knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling.
• Proven expertise in risk assessment and valuation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
