Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

Lula is a property maintenance marketplace connecting property management companies with vetted contractors, founded in 2020 and now operating in more than 50 U.S. markets. As a Business Development Representative on the Acquisition & Onboarding team, you will be the first point of contact for service providers (Lula Pros) who apply to join the network, guiding them from submission to being ready for vetting.

The position is based in the Asunción office, Paraguay, with a 40-hour week and two days off aligned with U.S. Central Time.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up by phone, email and text with priority applicants when automated outreach fails, collecting their General Liability Insurance (GLI) and license documents.
• Verify GLI expiration dates and state licenses, and keep the Provider Success team informed through clear internal notes.
• Monitor and answer questions and document submissions in the Pro Inbox.
• File, verify and maintain pro documents so every record has valid, current paperwork.
• Run a weekly review of approved pros with expired insurance or licensing, run the outreach sequence and log every contact.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English (C1+).
• Previous experience in compliance, document verification or administrative support.
• Comfort with phone outreach and persistent, professional follow-up.
• Excellent organization, communication and attention-to-detail skills, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
