About the role

British American Tobacco Paraguay is seeking a Finance Senior Analyst to join its finance team in Asunción. The role will support the company’s financial planning, reporting, and treasury activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, consolidate, and monitor the operating expense budget, providing insights for decision‑making.
• Prepare and report monthly and quarterly financial statements, budget performance, capital expenditures, tax reconciliations, and dividend‑related data.
• Oversee treasury and working‑capital functions, including cash‑flow monitoring, supplier payments, accounts receivable, collections, and credit exposure.
• Coordinate activities across Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Commercial Finance, and external service providers.
• Administer pricing, margins, commercial conditions, incentives, rebates, and distributor reimbursements.
• Review and maintain customer and supplier contracts for compliance.
• Monitor corporate policy, governance, and internal‑control compliance, including annual certifications.
• Control inventory‑related financial processes, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance functions such as FP&A, commercial finance, accounting, or treasury.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
