Remote Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Remote Operator to provide high‑quality support to patients of a U.S. medical practice. The role is fully remote, based in Paraguay, and follows New York business hours. You will handle phone interactions, appointment scheduling, and basic administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments.
• Provide general information about services and send appointment reminders.
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage for medical equipment.
• Record and update patient information accurately in internal systems.
• Follow communication scripts and guidelines to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in customer service, medical office support, or a call‑center environment (preferred but not required).
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
• Ability to multitask and handle patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, data entry).

What we offer

• Competitive salary of $500 USD.
• Full‑time remote work with a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (8 am‑7 pm Mon‑Thu, 8 am‑5 pm Fri).
