Unit Verification Agent – Remote Healthcare Support

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Unit Verification Agent to join our client’s remote team. In this position you will ensure that patient authorizations are accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with insurance requirements, helping to deliver a smooth and compliant patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review scheduled patients to confirm that authorizations are valid, checking dates, approval status, CPT codes, and unit counts.
• Validate new referrals for correct authorizations before they are sent to appointment setters.
• Submit requests for new authorizations when existing ones expire or need adjustments.
• Proactively request additional units for upcoming follow‑up consultations.
• Follow up on pending requests, resubmit if necessary, and communicate outcomes to the scheduling team.
• Record used units and all authorization activities in the company’s digital systems.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C2 level).
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in healthcare authorization or insurance verification is preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with medical coding systems.
• Proficiency with digital documentation and workflow platforms.
