WordPress Support Developer

About the role

We are looking for a practical, detail‑oriented WordPress Support Developer to maintain and improve a portfolio of live client websites. You will work remotely, collaborating with internal teams to ensure sites run smoothly, load quickly, and rank well in search results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bug fixes, layout adjustments, and element updates across WordPress and other CMS platforms (Duda, Squarespace, Divi).
• Set up and manage staging environments for safe testing and deployment.
• Configure and monitor daily backups within hosting environments.
• Update themes, plugins, and CMS components while ensuring compatibility.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, responsiveness, and speed issues.
• Implement and validate schema markup and other technical SEO improvements.
• Support integrations with forms, plugins, and external tools.
• Document recurring issues and share solutions to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of hands‑on experience with WordPress website maintenance and support.
• Familiarity with additional CMS platforms such as Duda, Squarespace, or Divi.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to manage multiple small tasks daily.
• Excellent written communication in English and ability to work independently.
• Availability to work within or overlap U.S. time zones; candidates must reside in LATAM or Europe.
