IT and Educational Technology Specialist

About the role

The IT and Educational Technology Specialist will manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure on‑site in Asunción. This full‑time position ensures reliable, secure access for staff and students while supporting the integration of digital tools into classroom practice.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, implement cybersecurity measures, and manage networks, devices, and user accounts.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and resolve incidents promptly.
• Maintain educational software, learning management systems, and classroom technology such as projectors and tablets.
• Train educators on digital platforms, document procedures, and keep asset inventories up to date.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to improve digital workflows and identify innovative technology solutions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities to diagnose technical problems and optimise systems.
• Effective communication skills for training and supporting educators, staff, and students.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Educational Technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site, prioritize multiple tasks and deliver responsive support in a school environment.
