Spanish to English Interpreter

About the role

LanguageBees is seeking a full‑time remote Spanish to English Interpreter to facilitate clear communication between Spanish‑ and English‑speaking parties in virtual call‑center environments. The role involves both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, with occasional translation of short written documents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for medical, legal and general client calls.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and adherence to industry protocols during every session.
• Take detailed session notes and assist with translation of short written materials when required.
• Participate in periodic training to stay current with best practices and client guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in both Spanish and English with proven interpreting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to handle medical and legal terminology accurately.
• Comfortable working remotely with secure technology, stable internet and appropriate headsets.
• Relevant certification in interpreting or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Simultaneous interpretation in fast‑paced, real‑time environments.
• Consecutive interpretation with excellent listening and memory skills.
• Medical interpretation and familiarity with related terminology.
• Legal interpretation and knowledge of legal terminology.
