Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant (Smoky Mountains)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant to manage vacation rental properties in the Smoky Mountains region (Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville). The role is fully remote, full-time, and requires proactive communication with guests, owners, and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of short-term rental properties, including reservations, calendars, and pricing.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, handle check-ins, check-outs, special requests, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate cleaners, maintenance vendors, and inspectors; process maintenance tickets and follow up to completion.
• Keep listings accurate and optimized across Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com and other platforms.
• Prepare owner communications and operational reports.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing STR properties in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sevierville, TN.
• Strong knowledge of the Smoky Mountains vacation‑rental market and local regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, problem‑solving, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office; availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com platforms.
• Experience using property‑management systems such as Hostaway, Guesty, Hospitable, or OwnerRez.
• Familiarity with dynamic pricing tools like PriceLabs.
