Senior Python + Django Technical Leader (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is looking for a Senior Python + Django Technical Leader to guide development teams in building scalable web applications. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving best practices. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex web applications using Python and Django.
• Mentor and guide development teams on best practices, code quality and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
• Drive code reviews, establish coding standards and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, scalability and security across Django-based systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Python and the Django framework.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced level of English.
