Playwright Automation Engineer (TypeScript) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring a Playwright Automation Engineer. You will build and maintain scalable web application test automation frameworks and connect software development with quality assurance so engineering teams can ship reliable releases at speed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated end-to-end testing solutions across applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable, cross-browser automation frameworks supporting product delivery.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to strengthen quality gates.
• Work with engineering and product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Maintain and optimise test suites for reliability, performance and fast feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering or software testing.
• Proven expertise in web application test automation with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Advanced English proficiency.
