Senior Full Stack Developer (Typescript + Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join Applaudo’s commercial intelligence platform. The role focuses on extending an existing, data‑intensive SaaS product, delivering new features that are secure, performant and maintainable. This is a six‑month fixed‑term contract with a possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship full‑stack features using React, TypeScript and a Python/FastAPI or Node.js backend.
• Build and optimise complex admin and configuration screens, multi‑level filters and high‑volume tables (e.g., ag‑Grid).
• Maintain and improve PostgreSQL schemas, write performant SQL queries and support data‑modeling tasks.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, Okta, JWT and role‑based access control.
• Collaborate with a distributed team across Europe, India and the Americas, communicating decisions in English.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex) responsibly to accelerate development while validating generated code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience delivering production‑ready full‑stack features.
• Comfortable reading and extending an existing codebase without major redesign.
• Strong autonomy and ability to justify technical choices to senior stakeholders.
• Effective written‑first communication in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, MUI or styled‑components.
• ag‑Grid or equivalent data‑grid library.
• Python with FastAPI and/or Node.js.
• PostgreSQL, SQL query optimisation.
• OAuth 2.0, Okta, JWT, role‑based access control.
• AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex).
