Quality Supervisor – Itapúa

About the role

The company seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality and laboratory functions, ensuring accurate interpretation of test results, compliance with defined standards, and the implementation of corrective solutions across production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of the Quality, Laboratory and Document Management areas.
• Interpret laboratory results and analyse deviations linked to production processes.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and support operational decision‑making.
• Coordinate corrective actions with Production and other departments.
• Monitor controls, batches, tanks, finished products and stock availability.
• Participate in operational meetings to define adjustments that achieve expected quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, records and documentation.
• Support implementation and maintenance of quality and food‑safety management systems.
• Follow up on action plans arising from audits, deviations or non‑compliance.
• Contribute to the professionalisation, organisation and continuous improvement of the area.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Production Technology or related fields.
• Experience in Quality, Laboratory, Production, Industrial Processes or Food Safety.
• Knowledge of interpreting laboratory results and managing process deviations.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, ISO 9001 and food‑safety management systems.
• Experience or knowledge of FSSC 22000 is a plus.
• Background in food, agro‑industrial, chemical or manufacturing sectors.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday.
