QA Lead – Billing & Revenue Assurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to own quality for the Net2Phone billing platform. The role focuses on end‑to‑end testing of billing correctness, from call rating to invoice generation, and includes leading a QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the test strategy for billing, covering rating, mediation, invoicing, taxation, payments, credits, adjustments, dunning and reseller hierarchies.
• Design and document test coverage for month‑end billing cycles, including cut‑off, timezone boundaries, reruns and retry safety.
• Perform revenue‑assurance testing by reconciling CDR volumes against invoiced amounts and quantifying financial impact.
• Enforce requirement intake gate and documentation standards to ensure testable acceptance criteria and traceability.
• Drive the automation roadmap, decide what to automate and review code and test suites.
• Mentor QA engineers, report billing quality metrics and communicate product quality risks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of QA experience with production billing, rating or payments systems.
• Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions) for independent usage‑invoice reconciliation.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers and pushing back on untestable requirements.
• Professional English proficiency with overlap to US Eastern business hours.
