Project Manager – Software Development (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives for its clients across the United States and Latin America. The role is fully remote and ideal for a professional who thrives in fast‑paced, collaborative environments and can manage multiple workstreams while meeting fixed, external deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver software development projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Maintain client dependency registers, risk registers, and change‑control processes.
• Coordinate third‑party vendor contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
• Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams, ensuring milestone‑based acceptance criteria are met.
• Produce client‑facing status reports and translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Oversee project scope, budgeting, resourcing, and timeline management across concurrent streams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts proactively.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Proven track record delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows).
• Experience with client dependency, risk, and change‑control registers.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work overlapping US business hours.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Extreme ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
