Mechatronics Technician – Rotating Shift

About the role

The company is looking for a Mechatronics Technician to work on a rotating shift in an aluminum packaging plant. The role focuses on maintaining the electro‑electronic equipment of production machines to ensure continuous manufacturing while complying with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee reliability of electro‑electronic equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Perform corrective electrical and electronic repairs on machine components using manuals and electrical schematics.
• Execute corrective actions on general plant electrical installations, interpreting layout plans and wiring diagrams.
• Operate sub‑station equipment during power failures or supply interruptions, following operational procedures and safety rules.
• Develop and implement electrical projects aimed at automating processes and improving energy distribution.
• Record daily activities, incidents, and maintenance actions in written or verbal reports.
• Inform the Production Supervisor about work performed, downtime, duration, and equipment status.
• Update the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor on modifications, key parameters, and unresolved issues.
• Log spare parts usage in SAP and generate related maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Technical background in Mechatronics or a related field.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical schematics and layout plans.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Corrective electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
• Operation of sub‑station equipment.
• Use of SAP for inventory and maintenance record keeping.
