BIM Engineer – On‑site in Asunción

About the role

Elemental Engineering is seeking a full‑time BIM Engineer to work on‑site in Asunción, Paraguay. The role focuses on developing and managing BIM models across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, ensuring design intent and constructability are accurately represented.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain BIM models for architecture, structure and MEP.
• Produce and revise construction drawings, sections and details.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and perform clash detection.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to resolve design issues.
• Maintain model standards, document changes and generate 3D visualisations and reports for internal and client reviews.
• Adhere to project timelines, quality requirements and company/industry guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong BIM skills including model creation, coordination and clash detection.
• Experience producing accurate construction drawings and documentation.
• Proficiency in MEP coordination within BIM environments.
• Foundational knowledge of architecture and civil engineering.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Analytical, problem‑solving and spatial‑visualisation abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary, on‑site setting.
• Experience in the AEC industry and familiarity with local and international building standards (advantageous).
