Analista de Fraude y Monitoreo de MFS

About the role

The Fraud and Monitoring Analyst for Mobile Financial Services (MFS) will ensure that fraud‑detection tools are properly configured, continuously monitored, and effective in reducing charge‑backs while preserving a smooth user experience. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to define, test, and implement fraud‑prevention policies.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain MFS fraud‑monitoring platforms on a continuous basis.
• Analyze fraud patterns across fintech, banking, payments and mobile financial services to create statistical rules for approval or rejection.
• Design and implement a combination of rule‑based and model‑based controls that minimize fraud and maximize conversion.
• Collaborate with product owners to suggest product changes based on fraud insights.
• Provide valuable data to external providers and act as a central point for vendor‑related fraud information.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, able to work with unstructured data.
• Experience with statistical frameworks for testing solution efficiency.
• Familiarity with fraud patterns in fintech, banking, payments or mobile financial services.
• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance or a related technical field.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and train colleagues.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
