AI Video Ad Specialist (E-commerce)

About the role

Hydra Brands, a performance-driven e-commerce supplement brand spending around $200K/month on ads, is hiring a full-time remote AI Video Ad Specialist. The role turns proven winning ads into a family of AI-native video formats and hunts for new ones. It is paid in USD with a base salary plus an uncapped percentage of ad spend.

Key responsibilities

• Turn about 30 proven winning ads into new formats such as Pixar-style animation, AI song ads, AI UGC, drama ads, episodic drama, Vox-style explainers, VSLs and others.
• Test new models, workflows and formats and bring the best into production.
• Produce finished ads, handling image and video generation, voice, music and final edits in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Work from scripts and concepts provided by creative strategists, and use performance data to iterate.
• Coordinate with the project manager, founders and creative strategists; understand the basics of supplement ad claims.

Required profile

• A portfolio of 2-3 AI video ads, including e-commerce examples.
• E-commerce ad experience and understanding of direct-response elements such as hooks, pacing and offers.
• Hands-on experience with AI video models such as Seedance, Veo and Kling, and strong editing skills.
• Good written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus.
• Autonomy, taste for quality, and a bonus of experience with supplements, health or wellness brands.
