Senior Full Stack Engineer – Growth & Experimentation

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to join a small, dedicated growth and experimentation team within Kraken. The role is frontend‑leaning, focusing on building and shipping consumer‑facing features in React Native while also contributing to backend services as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch rapid experiments in React Native and TypeScript, moving from hypothesis to live feature without waiting on other teams.
• Own the full experiment lifecycle – hypothesis, design, implementation, measurement, and iteration – using platforms such as Statsig.
• Improve onboarding, activation, and feature discovery to boost conversion, engagement, and trading revenue.
• Contribute to backend APIs and services, primarily Rust‑based, to unblock full‑stack delivery.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software development experience building large‑scale, consumer‑facing applications.
• Proven track record of running growth experiments with measurable impact on conversion, activation, retention, or revenue.
• Hands‑on experience with backend development and willingness to work with Rust.
• Ability to work autonomously, make data‑driven decisions, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Required skills

• Strong React and React Native expertise.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including APIs, WebSockets, and real‑time systems.
• Experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and statistical analysis (e.g., Statsig).
• Familiarity with Rust (nice to have) and SQL for data interrogation.
