AI Developer

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer across its workflow. As an AI Developer you will own and ship internal automation systems, turning documented roadmaps into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Integrate Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools that reduce manual hours in design and development processes.
• Create automation pipelines linking WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and the internal CMS.
• Work on MCP server integrations as part of the broader AI stack.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven track record of API integration with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English proficiency sufficient for asynchronous written communication with a US‑based team.
