R&D Assistant – Field Experimental Activities

About the role

The R&D Assistant will support the research and development team by carrying out field experimental activities. Working under the coordination of the R&D Representative, the role ensures proper set‑up, application, evaluation and documentation of trial data in agricultural settings.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain field trials according to experimental protocols.
• Prepare treatments and perform applications using CO₂‑powered spraying equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure correct operation.
• Conduct efficacy, crop selectivity, phytotoxicity and other protocol‑defined evaluations.
• Collect samples, take photographic records and perform required measurements.
• Accurately record and enter experimental data in a timely manner.
• Verify data quality and consistency.
• Assist in analysis, interpretation of results and preparation of technical reports.
• Organise product samples, equipment, materials and experimental plots.
• Identify and report agronomic or operational issues that could affect trial quality.
• Support field activities for local, regional and global R&D projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering.
• Knowledge of crop protection and agronomic management.
• Strong interest or experience in agricultural field experimentation.
• Availability for intensive field work and travel.
• Organised, accurate and detail‑oriented.
• English proficiency is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with data collection and management tools.
• Operation of CO₂‑powered spraying equipment.
• Equipment calibration for crop protection product application.
