R&D Representative

About the role

The R&D Representative is responsible for the technical management of experimental fields and the execution of research and development field trials across local, regional and global projects. The role ensures high experimental quality, reliable data collection and accurate interpretation of results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise field trials for herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.
• Interpret experimental protocols and ensure proper implementation under field conditions.
• Select trial sites, establish plots and manage agronomic practices.
• Oversee preparation and application of experimental treatments.
• Conduct and supervise evaluations of efficacy, crop selectivity, phytotoxicity and other protocol‑defined variables.
• Guarantee data quality, traceability and accurate entry into databases.
• Analyze trial results and prepare technical reports.
• Present findings to the Product & Development Manager and R&D teams.
• Coordinate activities and priorities of the R&D Assistant.
• Maintain organized documentation of protocols, samples, equipment and field records.
• Provide technical support for visiting R&D teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering.
• Experience in agricultural experimentation, crop protection or product development.
• Knowledge of experimental design and field evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret experimental data.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for field activities.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed.
• English proficiency is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data management tools for experimental data.
