About the role

The Head of E‑commerce will define and execute Fortis Paraguay’s online commerce strategy, driving sustainable growth of digital sales while ensuring an excellent customer experience across web and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall e‑commerce strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
• Coordinate digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to attract and retain customers.
• Oversee the online purchase journey, optimizing site usability and conversion funnels.
• Analyze performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value and repeat purchase frequency, and present actionable reports.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, logistics and customer service teams to ensure an integrated operation.
• Monitor market trends and digital innovations to keep the platform competitive.

Required profile

• Strong analytical aptitude for interpreting sales data, user behavior and campaign results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder negotiation.
• Proven experience in sales and e‑commerce, managing online channels and revenue‑growth initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of digital marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) aimed at customer acquisition and retention.
• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Commercial Engineering or related fields.
• Leadership experience managing teams and handling e‑commerce platforms and CRM systems.
