About the role
Join Karat’s Interview Engineer Community as a remote contractor. You will facilitate technical interviews for software developers worldwide, helping create inclusive hiring processes and delivering objective evaluations.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate live coding interviews through Karat’s platform, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable candidate experience while assessing fundamental coding skills.
- Evaluate candidates by providing detailed feedback on performance, coding style, communication, knowledge‑based answers, and problem‑solving approach.
- Partner with Karat’s product and content teams to test interview content, refine processes, and improve the platform.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of experience as a software developer or engineer.
- Excellent written and spoken English with professional interpersonal communication.
- Reliable access to a webcam, microphone and a stable high‑speed internet connection.
- Prior experience conducting technical interviews on data structures and algorithms is preferred.
