About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental companies and needs a talented video editor to bring its product, founder stories, and brand to life. You will turn raw footage, product recordings, and creative ideas into launch films, social content, and ads that capture attention and drive results.

Key responsibilities

• Edit product launch and brand films, blending storytelling, product demos, and strong visual direction.
• Create founder‑led content from interviews, talking‑head footage, and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
• Produce short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn with compelling hooks and purposeful pacing.
• Build paid‑ad creative with variations in openings, messaging, and calls‑to‑action.
• Enhance product demos using screen recordings, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and clear visual explanations.
• Own post‑production tasks including footage selection, editing, colour grading, sound design, music, captions, and final exports.
• Leverage AI creative tools (Runway, Kling, Sora, ElevenLabs) to generate supporting visuals, voiceovers, and other assets.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all formats and channels.
• Use performance insights—retention, watch time, conversion data—to continuously improve content.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editing craft, and visual taste.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, plus motion‑design skills in After Effects or equivalent.
• Ability to hook viewers within the first three seconds and keep them engaged.
• Skill at condensing long recordings into concise, compelling stories.
• Understanding of how music, silence, sound effects, and pacing shape emotion.
• Comfort using AI tools such as Runway, Kling, Sora, and ElevenLabs in the workflow.
• Independent work style, meeting deadlines and responding well to direct feedback.
