About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead and optimise the manufacturing processes that create Bimbo’s baked goods, ensuring they meet the company’s strict quality, safety and legal standards. The role involves risk management through HACCP and BRC systems, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment, and guaranteeing product authenticity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise the work of line staff, assigning tasks and monitoring procedures according to operational and quality requirements.
• Manage workforce schedules in the internal system, including shifts, overtime, vacations, meals and breaks, to meet production demands.
• Conduct safe‑conduct audits (ACS) following the health and safety model.
• Plan and schedule production for assigned lines, ensuring the availability of materials, equipment and personnel.
• Verify that sales orders are fulfilled in the correct quantity and on time, aligned with organisational forecasts.
• Maintain equipment functionality through cleaning, preventive maintenance, proper storage and adherence to operating instructions.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably as a Production Line Supervisor.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Knowledge of Lean methodology.
