SketchUp Specialist – Custom Furniture & Cabinetry

About the role

We are seeking a SketchUp Specialist to join a remote team that designs and manufactures custom cabinetry, furniture, and millwork. The role focuses on creating production‑ready 3D models and leveraging SketchUp Dynamic Components to streamline configurable product design.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of custom cabinets and furniture using SketchUp.
• Build, edit, and maintain Dynamic Components for configurable products.
• Develop parametric models that automatically adjust dimensions and configurations.
• Collaborate with designers and production staff to translate concepts into manufacturable models.
• Optimize SketchUp libraries, templates, and reusable components.
• Ensure model accuracy for manufacturing and improve existing component workflows.
• Troubleshoot and refine Dynamic Component behavior as needed.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with SketchUp and Dynamic Components.
• Hands‑on experience in cabinetry, custom furniture, millwork, or related woodworking manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, and joinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
