Shared Service Center Supervisor

About the role

Rhenus is looking for a Shared Service Center (SSC) Supervisor to lead the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of its regional SSC operations. You will act as the bridge between the SSC and the countries in the region, ensuring service quality and alignment with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and ensure compliance of SSC operational processes, promoting standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs, reports and overall performance, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as the liaison between the SSC and regional countries, guaranteeing alignment and high‑quality service.
• Lead projects on process implementation, automation and optimisation to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support the growth and expansion of the SSC by integrating new processes, tasks and markets in a sustainable manner.
• Coordinate and develop the SSC team, fostering autonomy, collaboration and results‑orientation.
• Identify operational risks and drive corrective actions to enhance service quality and internal user experience.

Required profile

• Graduate in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in logistics operations or freight forwarding, preferably in a regional or international context.
• 1‑2 years of experience leading teams, coordinating processes or managing projects.
• Experience with Shared Services Centers or regional structures is a plus.
• Proven experience in process implementation and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import and export operational processes.
• Experience with management systems and digital tools.
• Understanding of KPIs and preparation of management reports.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and process standardisation.
• Intermediate level of English.
