Senior Trading Analyst

About the role

Deriv is seeking a Senior Trading Analyst to deliver fast, accurate market analysis that drives smarter trading decisions for millions of customers worldwide. You will work with AI‑enhanced tools to turn large, messy data sets into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends and liquidity across core instruments, flagging significant changes with clear context.
• Analyse spread data, execution quality and liquidity‑provider performance to identify improvement opportunities and emerging risks.
• Run structured back‑testing analyses on trading strategies and instrument parameters, interpreting results beyond surface appearances.
• Support the development and maintenance of risk‑management standard operating procedures, gaining familiarity with framework design.
• Produce reports using AI tools and SQL, delivering insights that inform live trading decisions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work quickly under market pressure.
• Experience in trading or market analysis, preferably within a multi‑asset, regulated environment.
• Comfort with AI‑assisted data processing and a willingness to deepen those skills.
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Proactive attitude toward contributing to risk frameworks and operational SOPs.
