Senior Full Stack & Backend Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript) – Remote Latin America

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a senior full‑stack and backend engineer to join its rapidly expanding consultancy. You will work remotely from Latin America, contributing to high‑impact projects that require building low‑latency, secure, and scalable API services. Key responsibilities

• Design and implement low‑latency API services on AWS, including scalable RESTful endpoints.
• Develop secure multi‑tenant environments and integrate third‑party SDKs.
• Write raw SQL, manage schema migrations, and enforce Row‑Level Security in PostgreSQL/AuroraDB.
• Contribute to frontend work using React when needed and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend‑focused software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to overlap US business hours and take extreme ownership of deliverables.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
