Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining end‑to‑end data pipelines, architecture, and AI‑driven BI solutions that power our data warehouse, LLM‑based applications, and real‑time inference services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery to feature stores, model‑training workflows, and real‑time services.
• Build and optimize workflows to extract, store, and retrieve semantic representations of unstructured data for advanced search.
• Architect lightweight analytics and dashboarding solutions delivering natural‑language query experiences.
• Define and execute processes for prompt engineering, orchestration, and model fine‑tuning for conversational interfaces.
• Oversee vector data stores and develop efficient indexing for retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate language‑model initiatives into scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and model deployment routines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong Python skills for data transformation and large‑scale processing.
• Hands‑on experience with big‑data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in designing pipelines that ingest data from RDBMS, JSON, APIs, and flat files.
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL expertise and solid knowledge of data‑warehouse methodologies.
• Experience with relational and cloud‑based databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows environments and Agile development practices.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills.
