SCM Expert – Consulting

About the role

As an SCM Expert at Supply Chain Experts PY, you will join a consulting team that helps organizations in Paraguay optimise their end‑to‑end supply chain. You will work on projects that analyse purchasing, inventory, logistics and demand data, propose process improvements and support clients in implementing practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data from procurement, inventory, logistics and demand planning to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Design and refine internal policies, indicators and reporting tools for clients.
• Collaborate with client operations, finance and senior management to define sourcing, inventory and planning strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for multidisciplinary client teams.
• Support the implementation of recommended solutions on‑site and remotely, ensuring measurable results.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or related field; postgraduate studies or certifications in SCM are a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities for data analysis, process diagnosis and KPI design.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with experience presenting findings and leading workshops.
• Hands‑on experience in procurement, supplier negotiation and sourcing strategy.
• Knowledge of inventory management, demand planning and stock control.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain flows, information and finance in complex environments.
• Ability to work autonomously, results‑oriented and with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
