QA Automation Engineer – Remote (6‑12 mo Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a banking client’s quality engineering team on a 6‑12 month extendable contract. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining automated test coverage for both customer‑facing and internal platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver.
• Create robust test frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model) from scratch.
• Perform API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers in an agile delivery model to ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience building automated tests with Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Experience designing test frameworks and using BDD tools (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with API testing tools and CI/CD integration.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data validation.
• Effective communication in English and experience working in agile teams.
