About the role

BairesDev is seeking a senior Python/Django Technical Leader to guide remote development teams in building scalable web applications. The role blends hands‑on coding with technical leadership, mentoring engineers and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex web applications using Python and Django.
• Mentor development teams on best practices, code quality, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
• Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across Django‑based systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Python and the Django framework.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, databases, and backend development best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced level of English communication.
