Key Account Specialist – Supermarket Channel

About the role

The Key Account Specialist will manage Nestlé’s supermarket channel in Asunción, driving sales growth and ensuring product availability at points of purchase. You will act as the strategic liaison between Nestlé and key retail partners, implementing commercial activities that align with company KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the supermarket channel in line with KPIs.
• Ensure execution of marketing and trade activities at points of sale, including visibility, availability, and product presentation.
• Monitor performance versus plan, tracking indicators for each client and taking corrective actions.
• Negotiate and manage agreements with key customers following Nestlé’s best practices.
• Utilize Nestlé tools and resources such as POP materials, promotions, and merchandising equipment to support sales.

Required profile

• Graduate or current student in an administrative or commercial field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the supermarket channel.
• Strong commercial orientation with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on KPI tracking.
• Own transportation and willingness to travel at least once a month.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
