Java Software Engineer – Crypto Benchmark

About the role

Join the CF Benchmarks Index Team to build and maintain cutting‑edge financial benchmark calculation systems for the crypto market. You will work on a real‑time, distributed platform that supports major crypto ETFs and derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement benchmark calculation systems using innovative methodologies.
• Collaborate with product owners to deliver end‑to‑end features that meet business requirements.
• Contribute to core backend, data analysis, infrastructure, and business‑logic components.
• Support a 24/7 real‑time distributed system, ensuring reliability through tests, metrics, and alarms.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience in fintech or related domains.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Java development with a solid foundation in backend applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development processes.
• Familiarity with SQL, data analytics, and common middleware such as RPC, protobuf, message queues, and Redis.
