IT Trainee – Assurance

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in PwC’s Financial Services Audit practice, focusing on assurance services for a diverse portfolio of banking, capital markets, insurance and consumer finance clients. You will work alongside senior audit professionals, supporting the planning and execution of audit engagements while gaining exposure to cutting‑edge technology used to streamline testing and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing audit procedures for financial institutions.
• Support research, analysis and problem‑solving using a variety of audit tools.
• Handle, manipulate and analyse client data responsibly.
• Produce high‑quality work that complies with professional standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with technical developments in the assurance field.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
• Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Required profile

• Current enrolment in a university degree program (preferably in accounting, finance or related fields).
• Curious mindset with a willingness to try new approaches.
