Intermodal Analyst

About the role

You will lead the coordination of domestic and international ground transportation operations in Paraguay, ensuring efficient execution, outstanding customer experience, and effective supplier and cost management. Acting as a key link between customers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders, you will help drive operational excellence across Maersk’s inland logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transportation requests received from customers and coordinate execution from start to finish.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to secure equipment availability and service fulfillment.
• Monitor multiple operations simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding operational status and updates.
• Partner closely with Product, Procurement, Vendor Management, Customer Experience, and Finance Operations teams.
• Review, validate, and control operational costs associated with transportation activities.
• Update operational milestones and maintain accurate information in internal systems.
• Manage operational exceptions and coordinate corrective actions to minimize service disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, global standards, and local regulations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization.

Required profile

• High school diploma completed; ongoing technical or university studies in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Intermediate conversational English and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adopt a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Collaborative, customer‑centric attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Availability to work 100 % onsite in Paraguay.
