Executive Director – Communications & Events Lead (Corporate & Investment Banking)

About the role

This senior position leads internal and external communications as well as events management for the APAC Corporate & Investment Banking business. The role acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, turning business priorities into clear messaging and high‑impact events.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on executive communications, including town halls, leadership memos and the International newsletter for APAC and EMEA.
• Develop and execute internal communication initiatives, coordinate with HR, Legal and Finance, and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Support external communications by guiding APAC executives on media opportunities, managing relationships with financial reporters and shaping narratives.
• Plan, manage and deliver regional events such as client conferences, leadership forums and corporate hospitality, handling venue sourcing, vendor contracts and on‑site execution.
• Control event budgets, track spend, negotiate with vendors and measure event effectiveness through engagement metrics and feedback.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in public relations, media relations or corporate communications.
• Proven ability to craft executive communications and translate business decisions into clear messages.
• Experience managing multi‑channel communication strategies for large, distributed audiences.
• Background in planning corporate meetings and events, including vendor management and budget oversight.
