About the role

Itaú Seguros is looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to ensure the effective operation of information security controls. The role involves managing access, monitoring security platforms, handling vulnerabilities, and following up on incidents and security testing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and support compliance with information security and cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Administer, configure, operate, and monitor security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DDoS mitigation, proxy, SIEM and DLP solutions.
• Monitor and analyze security events, identify threats and risks, and manage escalation when needed.
• Lead the vulnerability management process, from identification to remediation.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities, evaluate findings, communicate results, and drive corrective actions.
• Assess the security posture of technology assets, propose improvements, and strengthen controls.
• Produce operational security reports and metrics to support risk monitoring and decision‑making.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related IT infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools (firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, SIEM, DLP, proxy, DDoS mitigation).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and associated security solutions.
• Experience reviewing penetration test results and coordinating remediation.
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, TCP/IP networking, communication protocols, and network security concepts.
• Ability to produce technical and executive reports, security indicators, and process documentation.
