Analista Junior de Eficiencia Energética y Sostenibilidad Marítima (SEEMP)

About the role

The Junior Energy Efficiency and Maritime Sustainability Analyst (SEEMP) will support the design, monitoring and continuous improvement of energy efficiency plans for ships and international fleets. The role combines engineering knowledge, data analysis and emerging digital tools to help reduce emissions and optimise vessel performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and monitor SEEMP plans and ship energy consumption data.
• Analyse operational indicators, identify improvement opportunities and prepare technical reports for clients.
• Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory bodies.
• Support the implementation of continuous‑improvement cycles.
• Train crew members on energy‑efficiency best practices.
• Collaborate with technical and IoT teams on operational enhancements.
• Leverage digital and artificial‑intelligence tools to streamline analysis, documentation and processes.

Required profile

• Degree (or near‑completion) in Energy Engineering, Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Naval Engineering.
• Residence in Asunción or nearby areas.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using artificial‑intelligence tools for data analysis.
• Intermediate English (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and results orientation.
• Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, data‑analysis methods or management‑system indicators is a plus.
