Senior Relationship Manager – Capital Markets & Advisory

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will act as a strategic advisor to corporate clients, helping them raise capital in the markets and providing advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions. The role works closely with Citi’s Institutional Banking team and serves as an intermediary for client trading activities.

Key responsibilities

• Expand a portfolio of complex accounts, driving revenue growth while maintaining credit quality in line with Citi standards.
• Identify client needs and recommend solutions such as financing, cash‑management, foreign‑currency and trade services.
• Cross‑sell a broad range of banking products, including cash management, trade finance, structured trade products, FX, commodities, fixed income, syndicated and bilateral loans, and capital‑market instruments.
• Manage all credit aspects of the relationship, including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial actions.
• Assess risk for business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Citi policies.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in corporate or institutional banking.
• Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling.
• Proven expertise in risk assessment and valuation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification.
• Fluent English.
