Cash and Trade Processing Analyst (Intermediate)

About the role

The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst is an intermediate‑level position within Citi's Transaction Services team. The role focuses on executing complex cash transfers, payments, trade transactions and wholesale card activity while acting as a subject‑matter expert.

Key responsibilities

• Process regular, restricted and legal transfers, including payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity.
• Ensure efficient transaction processing, provide SME guidance and recommend process improvements.
• Analyse data and technical precedents to evaluate and propose solutions to operational problems.
• Respond to internal and external client and vendor requests for deliverables.
• Collaborate on cash & trade operations projects and develop understanding of cross‑team interactions.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws, regulations and Citi policies, and transparently report control issues.

Required profile

• Previous relevant experience in cash management or trade processing (preferred).
• Fundamental understanding of financial industry regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
