Mobile Automation Engineer – iOS & Android

About the role

CXT Software is looking for a Mobile Automation Engineer to own and evolve the test suites for its driver app used in delivery logistics. You will work with Playwright, BrowserStack and GitHub Actions to ensure high‑quality releases as the app undergoes a full overhaul.

Key responsibilities

• Write, maintain and refactor Playwright test suites for native iOS and Android driver applications.
• Execute structured test plans, including manual regression testing, to validate release quality.
• Diagnose and resolve flaky tests, distinguishing between test‑execution issues and real engineering defects.
• Run and maintain parallelized test suites on BrowserStack via GitHub Actions to keep execution times efficient.
• Report test results in TestRail and review existing manual tests before automating coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and leadership to define comprehensive regression coverage.
• Identify, document and track software defects using issue‑tracking tools.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
• Explore and implement AI‑powered testing tools to enhance automation efficiency.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in QA or test automation (degree not required).
• Hands‑on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot flaky tests and differentiate engineering issues from test‑execution problems.
• Strong aptitude for quickly learning new tools and interconnected system components.
