Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through impeccable cleanliness and visual standards onboard. This role leads the housekeeping team, ensuring premium service execution and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall guest experience related to cleanliness, visual impressions, and service quality.
• Lead, train, and develop supervisors and crew members, maintaining a strong floor presence and consistent execution of responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and brand standards, including USPH and SQM guidelines.
• Manage budgeting, inventory, and cost‑containment initiatives for housekeeping operations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years progressive housekeeping managerial experience, preferably in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures, and personal protective equipment.
• Familiarity with talent assessment, HR policies, and progressive disciplinary processes.
• Proven ability to communicate diplomatically with managers and staff to resolve issues.
