Gerente Senior de Operaciones

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager will join a leading business group based in Asunción and report directly to the CEO. The role oversees complex, large‑scale operations across agro‑export, port, maritime/freshwater logistics and continuous consumer‑goods production plants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead diverse organizational structures, aligning operational staff, middle managers and senior operational leaders to a common performance standard.
• Plan, coordinate and synchronize complex supply‑chain networks that depend on external variables.
• Directly manage operational budgets with a focus on efficiency, productivity and cost control.
• Ensure a strong safety culture, HSE compliance and adherence to environmental regulations.
• Negotiate with partners, suppliers and service providers to optimize logistics flows.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience leading operations in high‑complexity sectors such as agro‑export, ports, logistics or large industrial plants.
• Proven ability to manage large teams, from frontline staff to senior managers.
• Demonstrated expertise in operational planning, logistics synchronization and budget control.
• Strong background in industrial safety, HSE and environmental compliance.
